How it works At Vi at Grayhawk offers two different pricing options, depending on the percentage of return. Your entrance fee and monthly fee pay for your apartment home, as well as access to our onsite continuum of care. The entrance fee is a one-time fee paid when you move into the community, and is based on the floor plan and return option you choose. Additionally, your monthly fees - which are directly tied to the floor plan you choose - also cover a range of offerings including: maintenance of your home, housekeeping, dining, transportation, and more. Should you move or require to access the care center, your independent living monthly fees will not increase, aside from community wide increases, the cost of additional meals and ancillary items as needed. At some point, their loved one simply can no longer live at home, even with in-home care. We Provide Memory Care Tailored to Meet Individual Needs We never forget that community members with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia are individuals first, with special backgrounds, personalities and interests. Moreover, the progress of memory loss and related symptoms varies from person to person. A amount of care which is exactly right for one person may well be totally inappropriate for another. That's why we tailor the care of each resident to meet his or her specific needs. This highly personalized approach is made possible by our small size and unusually low resident-to-caregiver ratio. Daily Life at Barton House At Barton House, we provide a variety of happenings for our community members that are specifically tailored to engage seniors who suffer from dementia. We believe engagement helps members keep their identity and independence as long as possible. Our programming starts after breakfast each morning and ends when our members retire for the night. A Barton House day is filled with familiar daily activities, such as senior exercise, art, board games, music, music therapy, massage therapy, bingo, and many other happenings. We also provide live entertainment several times each month, and our entertainers encourage resident participation. We know that a structured daily activity program, coupled with a high amount of engagement with staff and fellow members throughout the day, is one of the most powerful and effective interventions in memory care.
